We offer services of pickling, passivation and electropolishing of new equipment and facilities, as well as services of dismantling, cleaning, passivation, and reassembly of existing plants. These services are provided from the very start with preparation of adequate documentation, in which all procedures, the initial and final states and recommendations are recorded. The procedures are conducted by trained chemical engineers and mechanical engineers.

Dismantling

After calling for refurbishment of existing equipment or structures, our expert team comes led by mechanical engineer to document the current state and in consultation with the client’s staff arranges the dynamics of dismantling for specific equipment in order that client has less possible delays in operation due to temporary dismantling of equipment. After this, professional mechanical staff dismantles and drives equipment to our plant for further treatment.

Corrosion cleaning

Equipment must be cleaned at the first signs of corrosion damage, if not earlier during regular periodic cleaning. In short, we can say that the first appearance of corrosion corresponds to appear of smoke (and where there's smoke there's fire). To prevent the outbreak and spread of fire, respectively corrosion in our case, to other parts of the plant, it is necessary to repair part of the plant by physical and chemical processes. We always recommend to our clients treatment in our facility in order to provide the best possible protection by the process of immersion in baths.

So, if client’s activities permit, after dismantling of part of the plant and transport of equipment to our facility, refurbishment starts first by means of cleaning of corrosion from the surface. Depending on the type of corrosion, this procedure is done through chemical treatment or mechanical scraping, or by sand blasting. After this first step, the procedure of washing and degreasing takes place, and finally the process of immersion in the bath for pickling.

After certain time, re-washing and immersion in the bath for passivation is done. After the expiration of the additional time, re-washing is done after which the equipment is ready for reassembly. This procedure removes all impurities present (iron oxides, grease, etc.) within the plant and it fully restores the passive layer of chromium oxide, which is responsible for the stainless properties. Process of immersion enables that every single part of equipment and construction evenly comes into contact with chemical solution to perform a uniform restoration of the passive layer.

Of course it is necessary to carry out regular inspections of the plant and repeat the cleaning process in case of corrosion development. The complete process is followed by preparation of appropriate documentation which is to be delivered to the client free of charge.


Pickling

The highest quality pickling process is pickling by immersion in bath. Pickling process is carried out by immersion in bath (dimensions 6,3x3,1x2,0 m) in which solution for pickling is prepared. Before the process of immersion in pickling bath, products pass process of washing and degreasing, and also after the pickling process washing is performed again.

Bath pickling method enables that every single part of equipment and structures uniformly comes into contact with chemical solution to perform a uniform restoration of the passive layer. This is especially important with complex equipment, products or structures that have a larger number of hard to reach places.

The complete process is followed by preparation of appropriate documentation which is to be delivered to the client free of charge.

Passivation

Similar to the pickling process, the best procedure for passivation is a procedure of passivation by immersion in baths (dimensions 6,3 x3,1x2,0 m) in which special solution for passivation is prepared. Before and after the procedure, washing of objects is done to maximize passivation effect.

Bath passivation method enables that every single part of equipment and structures uniformly comes into contact with chemical solution to perform a uniform restoration of the passive layer. This is especially important with complex equipment, products or structures that have a larger number of hard to reach places.
The complete process is followed by preparation of appropriate documentation which is to be delivered to the client free of charge.

Electropolishing

Electropolishing is normally done by immersion in a bath (dimensions 6,30x1,25x1,00 m) in which special solution for electropolishing is prepared. What our electropolishing process significantly stands out from its competitors is the fact that all objects first undergo bath pickling process so that equipment and products are fully protect both inside and outside from corrosion development.

Most competing companies perform only electropolishing process from the outside of the object while the inner part of object remains completely unprotected, which leads to relatively rapid corrosion development inside.

Proceedings conducted in our plants, do not allow that possibility, and the product is fully protected both from the outside and from the inside while on the outside surface is achieved glow characteristic for electropolishing. The complete process is followed by preparation of appropriate documentation which is to be delivered to the client free of charge.

Assembly

Assembly is performed after the completion of the restoration procedures of the passive layer. Now in fully correct condition, refurbished equipment is installed by our professional staff under the supervision of mechanical engineer.
Depending on the type of equipment, procedure is followed by change of bolts and gaskets for safe and quality re-assembly and use in existing facilities. Assembly is done in consultation with client’s staff with the necessary supervision. The complete process is followed by preparation of appropriate documentation which is to be delivered to the client free of charge.

Documentation

Documentation is done as a part of each of our services so that the client can have a completely transparent insight to all actions that have been taken for the purpose of protection and refurbishment of his products and facilities. Documentation includes every step from the first examination to the final assembly. Therefore, the client will eventually have insight to the following:
